The University of Greenwich has stopped issuing new offers to applicants from Bangladesh for the January 2027 intake, with immediate effect.

• CAS decisions will be assessed against the university’s revised compliance requirements. Only students who meet the updated criteria will receive a CAS.
• New study gap limits for Bangladesh:
• Undergraduate: up to 1 year (up to 1.5 years for the January intake)
• Postgraduate: up to 2 years (previously 3 years)

Students who already hold an offer or have paid a deposit should contact us for their next steps.

The University of Wolverhampton has temporarily paused recruitment from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nigeria for the January 2027 intake, because of changing UK immigration and visa requirements.

• CAS already issued to applicants from these countries for January 2027 will be withdrawn.
• The university will contact affected applicants directly about their next steps.
• Recruitment for future intakes is under review.

The University of Hertfordshire has paused recruitment from Bangladesh for these programmes, with immediate effect: - MSc Management - MSc Management with Digital Marketing - MSc Management with Logistics and Supply Chain - MSc Management with Sustainability - All MRes programmes

Recruitment from the Sylhet region of Bangladesh has also been paused.

• Students who have paid a deposit: applications will continue through the usual credibility checks.
• Students without an offer or deposit: the university will contact you directly.

Note: some master’s programmes and the Sylhet region are currently paused (see the separate update).

The University of Hull (London campus) will not issue CAS to applicants from Bangladesh for MSc Business Management.

• Existing offers for this programme will be withdrawn.
• Applications from students who have already paid will be closed.
• You may ask to change course, but you’ll need a new Statement of Purpose explaining your reasons for the new course.

For applicants from Bangladesh, January 2027 intake: - IELTS is mandatory (IELTS for UKVI preferred, where applicable). - Unpaid deposits: students are given 7 days to pay. - The deadline to meet all conditions and for CAS issuance was 30 October 2026. - Submit your visa application by 13 November 2026 to allow enough processing time.

Assessments for Bangladesh are taking longer than usual because of extra checks, so complete everything as early as possible.

Full tuition fees must be paid before the CAS is issued.
